Where it all began.
Operations opened inside a small, custom-built garage in Canton, Georgia — the original D&D headquarters. One bay, a handful of tools, and the six Davis brothers putting in the work.
For over sixty years, D&D Manufacturing has worked steel, aluminum, and stainless into precision-crafted parts for the industries that keep the world running. Family-owned. Canton, Georgia. Dedicated to quality — same as the day six brothers opened the garage doors.
The six stars in our logo aren't decoration. Each one stands for a Davis brother who helped pound D&D Manufacturing into shape — starting in a small, custom-built garage in 1963.
At D&D Manufacturing, every job starts with the same idea it did in 1963: take raw metal, apply real craftsmanship, and ship something built to last. From our shop in Canton, Georgia, we handle expert welding, machining, fabrication, and laser cutting for clients across the country and around the world.
Over six decades in, we've grown from a single garage into a full manufacturing operation — but the standard hasn't moved. Whether it's a one-off prototype or a full production run, our team brings the same commitment to reliability, efficiency, and craftsmanship that earned us our reputation in the first place.
From custom fabrication to precision CNC machining, every part we produce is built to your exact specifications. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just clean, accurate, honest work — the kind of manufacturing you can put your name on.
The things that mattered to six brothers in 1963 still guide every part we ship today — they just run on bigger machines.
Founded by six Davis brothers in 1963 and still run on the same principles — family, accountability, and work you can put your name on.
Every cut, weld, and finish happens under one roof in Canton, Georgia — built by people who know the work and stand behind it.
From local Georgia shops to international partners, our parts ship around the globe — backed by ISPM-15 export crating and freight support.
Welding, CNC machining, laser & plasma cutting, tube bending, bead blasting, and paint — held to spec, delivered on time, built to last.
From a one-bay garage to a full manufacturing operation — the milestones, machines, and people that built D&D into what it is today.

Early success in precision metal work led to local recognition, including a feature article documenting the official launch of the business by the founding Davis brothers.
By the '70s, D&D had solidified a reputation for quality — relying on the specialized skills of machinists and welders like Stanley and Randy to handle growing demand for precision fabrication.
D&D secured a contract to manufacture specialized industrial components — including these custom-designed chicken cutters used in the preparation lines for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Production demand picked up fast. Moving large, finished steel components and heavy materials became a daily job — forklifts and industrial machinery keeping pace with high-volume output.
This era marked significant growth — large-scale welding bays handling ever-increasing volumes of critical fabrication contracts for clients across industries.
By the new millennium, D&D was known for advanced expertise in complex transport logistics — safely managing and securing the outbound shipping of large, oversized industrial loads.
The company continued its specialization in large-scale structural work — a fabricator shown here performing precision grinding on a massive, custom-built steel box beam bound for a major industrial application.
Our commitment to expert work didn't soften with time. This dynamic shot captures a skilled fabricator performing precision welding on a new custom vehicle structure — proving the techniques are as sharp as ever.
Despite challenges during the global pandemic, D&D kept the lights on — adapting to new safety standards and ensuring uninterrupted service for customers who needed us most.
Founder & Lead Brother
Vision, skill, and dedication — the same three things it takes to build anything that lasts.
D&D Manufacturing was founded by Jim Davis, whose leadership laid the foundation for a company built on precision, quality, and family values. As Jim always said, “Hard work—that’s the backbone of success… Hard work.” He believed that “if you work hard, treat people right, and make good parts, they'll come back.” Sixty years later, his standard still sets the tone in every welding bay and every finished part that leaves the shop floor — and his example continues to guide the team into the future.
From a one-bay garage in Canton to shipments crossing oceans — D&D has always been ready for the next job. Tell us about yours.
